THE PERFORMANCE

SACRED DATA for electric guitar and extended vocals. Collaboration with Lise Couchet.

On the occasion of the DA Festival in Wasserkirche, the duo will expand the piece SACRED DATA by Alarcón, with the intention of building a communal abstract space through a durational and immersive performance. Based on microtonal music and noise features, Cyrill Ferrari and Lara Alarcón will present a new hour long open-score.

SACRED DATA is a composition inspired by rituals and religious symbols that surround religion, such as church spaces, gregorian chant, gigantic architectures and worship, in contraposition with broken and distorted sound, and a profane approach to these symbols.

performances.
